Good Food, Good Opportunities, Good Business


The FamilyFarmed Trade Show offers leading edge programming and technical assistance to support farmers, trade buyers and other stakeholders to grow their business and the good food community. The exhibit floor includes farmers, distributors, artisan food producers, and school food suppliers that are looking for new business and specialize in local food.

The Green Chicago Restaurant Cooperative is having a lunchtime meeting with members and potential suppliers to discuss ways to increase access to local foods in their large network of restaurants, foodservice companies, distributors, and more. Farmers, distributors, manufacturers and other companies serving this industry are welcome to attend.
The FamilyFarmed Trade Show offers your business the opportunity to be ahead of the curve in the hot local food movement by giving you access to regional farms and manufacturers looking for new business. The exhibit floor includes farmers, distributors, artisan food producers, and school food suppliers that specialize in local food.  The event also includes leading edge programming and technical assistance to support farmers, trade buyers and other stakeholders to grow their business and the good food community.

Trade Show programming includes a Farm to School track, plus workshops on "The Farm to Restaurant Connection;" "Scaling Up Urban Ag for Wholesale Markets;" and "Large Scale Meat Procurement."  

A FREE WORKSHOP is being offered with no registration necessary: "So You Want to be a Farmer" -- a discussion on farming as a new career choice will take place 5:30 to 7:00.


The day concludes with a Meet the Buyers Reception
where farmers and food companies can meet leading Midwestern buyers interested in Good, local food.
