Old Town Social

We are unpretentious and blue collar.  Assembling an eclectic menu that is unpretentious and blue collar should insist that our overall concept is approachable by those living in and outside of Chicago and should appeal to grandparents all the way to college graduates. Forging relationships with our local suppliers allows us the opportunity to parse through their products to find the pearls that will contribute substantially to the surprising quality of food in our local neighborhood bar.

Osteria Via Stato

Founded on Chef DiGregorio’s travels throughout Italy, Osteria Via Stato, a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, follows the Italian tradition of seasonally-prepared dishes featuring local ingredients and paired with an all-Italian wine list with more than 300 Italian labels. Featured Beverages

August Hill Winery

August Hill is an award winning Illinois vineyard and winery that stands atop a bluff on the south side of the Illinois River. The first 2½ acres of vines were planted in the spring of 2003 with the help of many family and friends. Each hole was dug by hand, and each vine was planted by hand.

Fox Valley Winery

The Fox Valley wine tradition begins at the Faltz Family Vineyard and farm near Sheridan, IL. Vines were first planted in March of 2000, and we now have more than 25 acres of vines situated on the south-facing rocky ledges of the Fox River Valley. Come enjoy the fruits of our labor!

Goose Island

Chicago based Goose Island brews an innovative selection of over 50 craft beers at the brewpub, the best of which are then bottled at our Fulton Street brewery. Goose Island also produces a small selection of craft sodas. Goose Island beers are now enjoyed in 18 states and the Europe.

Hum Botanical Spirits

Inspired by the great amaros of Italy, celebrated mixologists, Adam Seger of Chicago and London’s Joe McCanta infuse organic rum with fair trade hibiscus, organic ginger, green cardamom and kaffir lime to create the beautifully balanced spirit called hum. At a bold 70 proof, hum is best enjoyed on the rocks with lime and a splash of soda. Enjoy it tall with tonic, ginger ale or cola. Don’t stop there...replace sweet vermouth or orange liqueur with hum to kick up the classic negroni, manhattan or margarita. Finally, end your evening with your favorite ice cream drizzled with hum. Mmmmmm. The applications are only limited by your imagination. Sip responsibly - because no one has had a bad humming experience.

Koval Distillery

Koval is dedicated to using organic raw ingredients because we want to support agricultural practices that are sustainable and respectful of the soil. Choosing only the best organic ingredients is the first step in making the best spirits possible. Adhering to kosher standards is another way we maintain strict levels of purity and quality control. We also like to think that it makes us a bit more spirit-ual.

Lynfred Winery

In October 2010 Lynfred Winery celebrated 31 years. ! Any business celebrating over three decades in today’s economy seems astonishing but a winery celebrating 31 years in Illinois, well we consider that to be pretty amazing!  We still have an article posted in the winery from 1977 that is titled ‘Winery Ok’d despite dispirited audience’. When the dream of opening Lynfred Winery started to come to fruition, the reality of starting Illinois’ first winery to open since prohibition became quite a task.  Eventually the winery was bonded in 1977 and opened its doors to the public on October 14, 1979.

The concept of Lynfred Winery came from "two crazy people." It was entirely a creation of the love and ingenuity of Fred and Lynn Koehler. Between Lynn's ideas and Fred's practicality, they created one of the most unique attractions — not to mention gourmet tastes — in the United States today.

Midwest Wine Selections

Where quality and service go hand in hand.  Our mission is to offer the best wines, both locally and globally.  Excellent service provided by exceptional people.

We are passionate about our wines and believe that you will be inspired by our collection.

Pheasant Hollow Winery

Now in our 12th year, Pheasant Hollow Winery is a culmination of our dream to produce the best in grape and fruit wines. Nestled on the Eastern shore of Rend Lake, Pheasant Hollow Winery is located on over 5 acres of scenic woodlands in beautiful Southern Illinois. Come sit on our deck, enjoy the wildlife and taste one of our finely crafted fruit or table wines.

Prairie State Winery

One-time schoolteachers, Rick and Maria Mamoser decided to forgo the long commute into the suburbs for a “simpler life” as business owners. Prairie State Mercantile opened at their current location in July 1998. Selling finer goods, including wine, made exclusively in Illinois (The Prairie State), they were on the leading edge of the “keep it local” movement, winning multiple statewide awards for their concept.

Prairie State Winery soon followed (fall of 1999), expanding the concept by producing wines made exclusively from Illinois grown grapes. With their home winemaking experience, science background, and immersion into national wine curriculum, they soon started garnering many awards for their wines as well. With the first vintage of only 500 gallons to the most recent vintages of nearly 13,000

Two Brothers Brewing and Tap House

Two Brothers Brewing Company produces a full line of craft beers in its Warrenville, IL Brewery and Tap House. Two Brothers Brewing Company is 100% family owned and committed to producing world-class beers.

Wollersheim Winery

Just across from Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, the Wollersheim Winery sits on a scenic hillside overlooking the Wisconsin River. As the wines continued to grow, so did the buildings with several expansions to increase wine production capacity built in the past fifteen years. In 2008, one-hundred fifty years after the original winery building, the winery continues to "build on tradition" and has opened the first expansion dedicated to more visitor space. The 15,000 square foot addition includes tasting and shopping areas, as well as an expanded area for tours. The old winery store is converted to tasting areas as well as historic displays. The new store and upstairs event room have beautiful views of the hillside vineyards. A balcony and outdoor wine garden are a nice place to enjoy a glass of wine spring through fall. The tradition continues...
